Hi - This is the second time, this has happened to me - I have Dell D810 w/Vista Preview 2 installed alongwith Office 2007 - Everything was working fine, till all of a sudden IE stops working - takes up 100% resources and if I start another copy, it doesn't respond either.... Last time, I had to re-install the OS from scratch again - and now it has happened again... Other applications, including MSN Messenger Live 8 work fine - I can access other network resources - but nothing via IE... I am on a wireless network on this laptop - but I don't think it is the wireless as everything else seems to work....Of course, I have tried re-starting but no change - it continues to lock up after restarts as well...
Any ideas?
Thanks

IE Locks up
This has been covered by many posts earlier and this helped my IE hangup like you are having. Uninstall any Java Virtual Machine that you may have intsalled. After that, your IE problems should clear up.

After you have uninstalled Java and comfirmed that IE7 is working again, install Java 6 Beta. That seems to work with IE7.
I have installed and uninstalled Java 1.5.0_07 enough times to be sure that it will not work with IE7, and so far Java 6 Beta is working.
